    Situated on the boundaries of the departments of Sacatepéquez, Escuintla, and Chimaltenango in Guatemala, Volcán de Fuego is an active stratovolcano. About 16 kilometres to the west of Antigua, one of Guatemala’s most well-known cities and a popular tourist attraction, is the volcano, which is a part of the Sierra Madre mountain range.
