Edmonton Walterdale Bridge


In Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, there is a through arch bridge that spans the North Saskatchewan River called the Walterdale Bridge. In 2017, it took the place of the former Walterdale Bridge. For automobile traffic travelling north, the new bridge has three lanes, and the crossings for pedestrians and cyclists have been renovated. Edmonton was the sixth-largest metropolitan region in Canada as of 2021, with a city population of 1,010,899 and a metropolitan population of 1,418,118.
