Poipu Beach Park

The town of PoŻipū, situated on the southern shore of Kauaʻi island in Hawaii, is home to PoŻipū Beach Park. The Kauaʻi County provides lifeguards at the park’s beach. There’s a reef-top surf break for expert surfers, as well as spaces for swimming and snorkelling. In the weekend, it can get packed. In 2001, Florida International University professor Stephen Leatherman, also known as “Dr. Beach,” named it the greatest beach in the United States.
