Queen’s Staircase

The Queen’s Staircase is a 102-foot walkway with 66 steps located in Nassau, the Bahamas’ capital city. It is a significant landmark in Nassau that was chiselled out of solid limestone rock between 1793 and 1794 by 600 slaves as a means of escape from the fort above.
