Les Invalides, formally known as L’Hôtel national des Invalides (The National Residence of the Invalids), is a collection of buildings in Paris, France’s 7th arrondissement that house a hospital and the original purpose of the building, a retirement home for veterans of war, in addition to museums and monuments related to France’s military history.
