Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar

In Zaragoza, Aragon, there is a Roman Catholic cathedral called the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar (Catedral-Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar). Pope John Paul II has referred to the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as Our Lady of the Pillar, as the “Mother of the Hispanic Peoples,” and she is the titular of the basilica. It is said to be the oldest church ever built in honour of Mary.
