Cobourg Marina

The Mississauga (Anishinaabe-speaking) peoples once lived on the region that is now Cobourg. In 1798, United Empire Loyalists established the towns that now comprise Cobourg in Northumberland County, Home District, Province of Upper Canada. Zacheus Burnham, Asa Allworth Burnham, Eliud Nickerson, and Joseph Ash were among the early settlers and founding fathers.
