Fort William Historical Park

Replicating the Fort William fur trade post as it was in 1816, Fort William Historical Park is a Canadian historical monument situated in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It opened for business on July 3, 1973. The location is near Point de Meuron, along the Kaministiquia River’s banks. This location is a few kilometres upstream from Fort Kaministiquia, the original fort site that is now covered by the city of Thunder Bay.
