Holbox Island

Holbox is an island in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, off the northern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula. It is 41.84 kilometres long and 1.5 kilometres broad, separated from the mainland by a 10 kilometre shallow lagoon that is home to flamingos, pelicans, and other abundant birds.
