Iolani Palace


When Kamehameha III of the Kamehameha Dynasty (1845) and Queen LiliŻuokalani (1893) of the Kalākaua Dynasty (1893–1893), which was started by her brother, King David Kalākaua, lived there, it was known as ŻIolani Palace. It is situated in the heart of Honolulu’s downtown capitol district in the American state of Hawaii. Currently, it is included in the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark.
