Museum of Memory and Human Rights

The victims of human rights abuses committed between 1973 and 1990, under Augusto Pinochet’s military dictatorship, are honoured at the Museum of Memory and Human Rights in Santiago, Chile. On January 11, 2010, then-president Michelle Bachelet officially opened it as a part of the government’s celebration of Chile’s bicentennial.
