Pappajohn Sculpture Park

In Des Moines, Iowa’s Western Gateway Park, sits the 4.4-acre John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park. 24 sculptures were there when it first opened in 2009; four more were later added. The Des Moines Art Centre is in charge of overseeing the sculpture park, which features pieces by artists such Barry Flanagan, Ai Weiwei, Louise Bourgeois, and Jaume Plensa.
