Royal BC Museum

Located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, the Royal British Columbia Museum, also known as the Royal BC Museum, was established in 1886. In 1987, Prince Philip bestowed the “Royal” title on Queen Elizabeth II, in accordance with a royal trip that year. In 2003, the museum amalgamated with the Provincial Archives of British Columbia.
