Wisconsin State Capitol

The Wisconsin Supreme Court, the office of the governor, and both houses of the state legislature are housed in Madison, Wisconsin’s State Capitol. The 1917 structure is the third to house the Wisconsin capitol since the state was awarded statehood in 1848 and the fifth to house the state capitol since the first territorial assembly met in 1836.
